The most visited Czech castle, Sychrov, is only 4 kilometers from us by road - or a pleasant hour's walk through the forest.
It is almost impossible to list all the castles and chateaux in the area, we are on the border of Bohemian Paradise and there is really a lot to see here around us. The following are only a sample: Trosky, Hruby Rohozec, Svijany, Valdstejn, Kost, Frydstejn, Hruba Skala, Vranov - Pantheon, Valecov, Jicin, and many others...
All these attractions and destinations are within a 10 - 20 minute drive from us, or there is also an easy train connection from us (train stop 300 m) with direct connections in all directions (trains depart in each direction every 2 hours).
And if you get tired of the countryside, the forest, the monuments and the beauty of nature, Prague is only 40 minutes by car from our cottage, and Liberec a mere 15 minutes. (you can access the Liberec-Turnov-Prague highway just 3 minutes from us)
In short - we are in the centre of everything happening and you and your children will definitely not be bored around here :)
